Christina Nemec, PE

Principal

Christina is a Principal Owner at NXB Geo. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Engineering Management, and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Previously, Christina worked in commercial and transportation design, as well as residential development. The unique combination of her design background coupled with an understanding of the construction process led her to the 3D model world. Christina has an extensive, 15-year portfolio preparing 3D models and consulting on countless construction projects.

Marcus Beagley

Marcus is a Principal Owner here at NXB Geo. He began his land surveying career in 2006 working on a wide variety of design and construction projects. He has participated in projects on every scale in his time as a land surveyor. With countless commercial sites and subdivisions for private-sector clients to bridge and roadway projects for the Idaho Transportation Department, Oregon Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration. Having served as both the lead field surveyor and project manager, Marcus has the experience and the knowledge needed to help take any project from start to finish.

Timothy Worley, Survey Crew Chief

Timothy began surveying in 2010 working on boundary and topographic surveys. He is diversified in all fields of surveying including bridges, roadways, and major infrastructures such as hospitals, high schools, underground parking, and hotels.  He is driven and very knowledgeable in his profession.  With 14 plus years of field surveying experience, Tim has had the opportunity to complete projects such as: Costco Meridian, Kuna High school, I-84 Karcher-Franklin Rd, Payette River Bridge, Ustick Roundabout systems and Noble Canal bridge.

Kevin is the lead Professional Land Surveyor at NXB Geo. Kevin began his career in 1994 and received an A.S. in Surveying and Mapping from Westwood College of Technology in Denver in 1996. He moved to Idaho in 2001 and became licensed in 2002. Kevin has worked in a wide variety of surveying projects throughout the region including design surveys for ITD, ACHD, and LHTAC as well as large roadway corridor studies and construction layout.

Kevin Borah, PLS

Violet is an EIT and model builder at NXB Geo. Before beginning her career in the civil design sector, she received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Portland State University. Violet spent 5 years working in project design & development, with a focus on stormwater design, wetland mitigation, and storm water pollution prevention. Violet has been working with NXB Geo (formerly Nemec Engineering) for the past 7 years and has extensive knowledge of 3D modeling including commercial development, residential, airport expansions, and highway projects.

Violet Patton, EIT

Shealyn Mascheroni, CAD Technician

Shealyn is a model builder at NXB Geo. Her experience includes curb, utility, and site models as well as survey quantity calculations. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a secondary teaching license from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Boise State University. Before entering a career as a CAD technician, Shealyn taught mathematics for twenty years at one of Idaho’s top performing high schools. She taught every course from Pre-Algebra to dual credit Pre-Calculus in conjunction with the University of Idaho. Shealyn was the math department chair and participated in several other committees in the school district, an experienced asset when it comes to teamwork. Her background in mathematics and sharp eye for detail make her an ideal model builder.   

Kathi McLeod, Office Administrator

Kathi is the Office Administrator for NXB Geo. She handles the day-to-day operations of our 2 office locations including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Kathi began her career in 1983 managing a family-owned real estate office.  She was elected to serve on the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors and the Boise Regional REALTORS® Board of Directors, where she served as Vice-President, President-Elect and President. She was selected as one of 12 to participate in a National REALTOR® Leadership training program and was given the opportunity to participate in the Idaho REALTORS® Leadership Academy. She was chosen by the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce to participate in their Leadership Boise program. She was honored to be awarded the REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award in 2005 and the TWIN award in 2014.

Chris is a quality control and takeoff specialist at NXB Geo. The epitome of self-taught, before entering the world of heavy civil construction, Chris spent his early years building houses. After attending the Seattle Divers Institute, he moved into the world of underwater construction and environmental cleanup. He then spent 15+ years in civil construction doing everything from pounding hubs to running machine control, flying drones, preparing gravel permit applications, managing construction jobs, and serving as all around problem solver. Chris’s wide range of experience and practical knowledge help to ensure our products are accurate and useable.

Chris Wise, CAD Technician

Alex Porter, Survey Crew Chief

Alex started his career in surveying in 2001, learning the trade performing boundary surveys and subdivision construction staking.  His range of boundary experience varies from small residential boundary surveys to large Township breakdowns in rural areas around Idaho and Oregon. He expanded his experience by working on heavy civil projects such as multiple Interstate I-84 widening and bridge projects as well as rural roadway projects. His experience also includes cell tower development and construction surveying in the western United States.  After successfully passing his LSIT in Montana in 2009, Alex continued his higher education by attending online and night classes through both Treasure Valley Community College and Great Basin College.  In 2018, Alex passed the PLS exam in Oregon to become a Professional Land Surveyor.
